Cypress, CA. (October 3, 2002) - Over the past few years Yamaha has developed inverter technology to make generators smaller and lighter. In 2003 the EF3000iSEB with Yamaha Boost Technology, Smart Throttle and Noise Block will take inverter generators to the next level. Yamaha's next generation of portable generators pump out an amazing amount of power from a package that is incredible quiet, compact and efficient.

The Boost Control Unit in the New EF3000iSEB uses power from the generator's 12 volt battery to produce additional amperage. This additional power is combined with its normal 3000 watts to boost the total output to that comparable to a conventional 3500 watt generator.

To reduce engine noise and wear, increase fuel efficiency and engine life, the EF3000iSEB's engine speed is precisely matched to the load by Yamaha's Smart Throttle, a load sensing throttle control system. Only Yamaha generators are equipped with Smart Throttle.

Noise Block, Yamaha's acoustically designed sound reduction system keeps the noise level down to a 51 to 57 decibels, that's 10 to 25 decibels quieter than conventional 3500 watt generators, allowing you to work in the most noise sensitive situations.

When you compare the Yamaha EF3000iSEB to a leading 3500 watt conventional generator you'll find that the Yamaha is 10 pounds lighter, it's one third the size and it is equipped with Smart Throttle and Noise Block. You would expect that these developments and technology would increase the price dramatically, but they don't. The Yamaha EF3000iSEB is priced just slightly higher than the leading 3500 watt conventional generator.
